This was a very keenly contested match with Mick Forresters treble eventually clinching it in Lutons favour.  Mick beat both Keith Chamberlain and Bob Mahon in three but was taken all the way by Brendon Moodley after coming back from two sets to one down.  Mary Ball got two wins, only losing to Keith and Lawrie Wilkie can consider himself a bit unlucky to come away empty handed after taking both Bob and Brendon to five.  Luton won the doubles in three sets to clinch the win.
