Howard 1 welcolmed back Andy Norwood, after Ben Foster was dropped! by the captain for their match against Luton 2. Howard were 6, 4 winners with every player contributing on the night
Norwood posted another maximum, but Luton star player Harry Law, almost upset the form book, just going down,11.9 in the fifth. Graham French was back for Howard after a long lay off and he was back to winning ways,picking up a brace but surprisingly losing to Will Wrapson but overcoming Harry Law in the fifth.
Terry Clapperton defeated Mason O'neil but the latter did have the consolation of one victory, Will Wrapson his victim. Luton thrashed a hapless Howard in the doubles to secure their fourth point.

Howard 2 overcame Sturdee 2, 9,1 although Sturdee did put up some strong resistance.
Neil Le Milliere started proceedings with an excellent 12, 10 fifth leg win over Jamie Diddams and reserve Tim Vaughan almost claimed a terrific win over Jamie, just being edged out, 13,11 at the death, a fine effort.
Wayne Youngs looked on course for another Sturdee point, winning the first two legs over Jamie but the unpredictable Howard player, showed tremendous fight to come back from the brink to win in five. 
Phil Thomas and Marcus Buckley picked up their customary maximums

Their was a fantastic match between Luton 1 and two player Sturdee 1. Five matches went the distance,with Luton the eventual winners, 6,4.  Richard Carden and Simon Forest were double winners, the former losing to hard hitter, Phil Morford and the latter, to Kevin Powell, 11. 8 in the fifth.  Simon Forest picked up two fifth leg wins,Russel Bates 11, 8 at the death and Phil Morford 11, 6 in the fifth.  Richard Carden just overcame Kevin Powell, another close encounter, 11. 9 in the decider.  A tremendous match, with only Russell Bates leaving empty handed. 

Howard 4 got back to winning ways , with a 7, 3 win over their 3rd string, who  unfortunately could only field two players. George Spillet wasn't troubled, registering two three leg wins for Howard 4. Charlie Cook is now showing better form, picking up a excellent double, Tony Bull and Kelvin Brown his two victims. 
Jordan Weller almost posted his first win of the season, just being edged out at the death, 11, 9 to Kelvin Brown

 Chatham Ark Royal were 8, 2 win over fellow strugglers, Cliff Woods. Stuart Fritter posted a treble which included a 11, 7 fifth leg win over Vinnie McCaneney, and a fourth leg win over Alan Bridle. Martin Birley registerted two three leg wins but couldn't complete a third as Vinnie was called away before their match for unforseen circumstances!. Harry Jones defeated Vinnie for his lone victory but couldn't out power Alan Bridle or Andy Hollman.
